CASS COUNTY — The Cass County Board of Commissioners is seeking candidates for an appointment to the Cass County Planning Commission. The nine-member County Planning Commission meets once a month.

The Planning Commission functions as an advisory board for the purposes of reviewing township zoning ordinances, amendments and has duties as set forth in the Michigan Planning Enabling Act, MCL 125.3801.

There is an appointment application form available at CassCountyMI.org or at the Cass County Administrator’s Office, Cass County Building, 120 N. Broadway, Suite 1116. Regular business hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Applications are due to the Administrator’s Office by May 15. Compensation is $20 per diem and mileage.
