NILES — The Niles-Buchanan YMCA hosted Healthy Kids Day Saturday to help teach children about the importance of staying active and to have some free family fun.

At the event, youth could participate in a number of indoor and outdoor activities, like face painting, dressing in costumes, taking pictures with a pony, and obstacle courses. The Niles Fire Department attended with a firetruck for children to observe.  Additionally, the St. Joseph Valley Masonic Lodge 4 provided a free child identification program. (Submitted photos)
