DOWAGIAC — Nearly every business on Front Street is sporting a teal ribbon this month in support of Sexual Assault Awareness Month. The ribbons were provided by Domestic and Sexual Abuse Services, which aids survivors of domestic and sexual abuse in Cass, Van Buren and St. Joseph counties.

The ribbons are a part of DASAS’ Paint the Town Teal initiative, which according to director Kim Kramer, shows solidarity with survivors of sexual assault and abuse.
