CASS COUNTY — A 41-year-old Goshen man was arrested on multiple drug crimes after officers executed a search warrant in Ontwa Township Wednesday.

According to the Cass County Sheriff’s Department, in a joint investigation with the Ontwa Township Edwardsburg Police Department and the the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team, detectives executed the search warrant in the 70000 block of Kenmore Drive in Ontwa Township.

Upon searching the residence, detectives discovered methamphetamine, marijuana and methamphetamine paraphernalia. The subject at the residence was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and frequenting a drug house.  

In addition to those charges, he was also arrested on a drug warrant out of Elkhart County. His name is being held pending arraignment in the District Court of Cass County. The investigation is still ongoing at this time and warrants are being sought for individuals not present at the time of the search warrant. Detectives were assisted on scene by Cass County K9 Faust as well as Cass County Animal Control.
