Megan Yore named a 2018 Top Hospital Marketer of the Year

ST. JOSEPH — Megan Yore, chief marketing and communications officer for Lakeland Health, was recently recognized in the fifth annual class of Top Hospital Marketers of the Year by Hospital Marketing National Perspectives, Inc. HMN Perspectives is the leading conference, training and publishing company for the consumer marketing of hospitals, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare products.
The Top Hospital Marketers of the Year Awards recognize extraordinary hospital marketers driving innovation, spearheading great creative, and working toward better branding for their hospital, health system, or facility. Honorees were judged based on industry reputation, accomplishments, innovation, and notoriety among their peers, partners, and media.

In addition to 11 years in the healthcare industry, Yore has held marketing and communications leadership roles in banking, education, and retail services. She currently serves as President of the Michigan Society of Healthcare Planning and Marketing as well as on the board of directors for United Way of Southwest Michigan and the Lincoln Township Library. Yore earned a bachelor’s degree in English literature from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree in English/professional writing from Western Michigan University.
