Four injured in rear-end collision in Niles

MILTON TOWNSHIP — Four people were sent to the hospital with injuries after a collision on US-12 in Milton Township just after midnight Sunday, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Department.
Police were dispatched to the US-12 near Frantz Drive at 12:46 a.m. Sunday after William York, 31, of Elkhart, had a rear end collision with another car containing three Niles teenagers.
The other vehicle contained Emilee Seggerman, 18, Rayannow Harkins, 18, and Martha Bredow, 19.
All four occupants of the two vehicles were transported to South Bend Memorial Hospital for their injuries.
Seatbelts were worn during the crash. Alcohol is believed to be a factor.
Niles Township Fire Department, SMCAS Ambulance and Edwardsburg Ambulance assisted at the scene.
