Area agencies to provide relief center for flood victims

NILES — Area agencies including Berrien County Office of Emergency Management, city of Niles, Niles Salvation Army-Niles, United Way of Southwest Michigan, 2-1-1, Team Rubicon and the Red Cross of Southwest Michigan will come together at a multi-agency relief center to provide flood assistance to residents throughout Berrien County.
The agencies will be available from 2 to 7 p.m. March 12, at the First Presbyterian Church, 13 S. Fourth St.
Agencies can help those affected by the flood with the physical damage to their homes, debris removal, muck-out, yard work tools, cleaning supplies, food, and other services. Some free Items will be available per household while supplies last.
No pre-registration is required and is open to residents in Berrien County impacted by the flood. For more information call 211.
