Photo story: Niles High School students to perform ‘High School Musical’

Niles High School students rehearsed for their performance of Disney’s “High School Musical” Wednesday afternoon.
The show will debut at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the high school, 1441 Eagle St. A second performance will take place at 2:30 p.m. Sunday.
More than 60 students are starring in the play or helping behind the scenes. Directors and coaches include Matt Hunckler, Meg Bartlett and Shanté Burns.
“It’s an energetic and the music is catchy,” Bartlett said.
Burns echoed this statement and encouraged the community to come see the show.
“You will see how much the students love it, which will make you love it,” Burns said.
General admission is $7. The cost for seniors is $5. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Niles High School office or at the door.
