ONTWA TOWNSHIP — Warrants are sought for multiple individuals after the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team executed a search warrant in Ontwa Township Friday.

According to a statement from the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team, the team executed the search in the 71000 block of Stateline Road in Ontwa Township on suspicion that illegal sale and use of marijuana was taking place.

Upon searching the residence, detectives discovered more than 30 pounds of processed and packaged marijuana, as well as a storage tote containing more than 40 pounds of marijuana edibles. Marijuana wax and oil was also located in dozens of small containers, packaged for distribution.

In addition to the marijuana, police seized more than $30,000 in cash, as well as several vehicles.

Detectives were assisted on scene by the Ontwa Township Edwardsburg Police Department.
