EDWARDSBURG — The Presbyterian Women’s Association’s 47th Annual Salad Smorgasbord and Style Show is just around the corner to be hosted at the Edwardsburg High School gymnasium at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 15. Each year the ladies make a “handmade” quilt to raffle off at the smorgasbord.
This year the quilt is made with white and lavender material. The theme of the event is Alice in Wonderland’s Mad Hatter Tea Party. The ladies have for 47 years made their award-winning “hot chicken salad” and have many salads and desserts made by the ladies and friends of the church.
The event gives out many door prizes and a beautiful style show with models from the church and the Miss Edwardsburg court. Tickets for the quilt can be purchased from any church member or at the salad smorgasbord that evening. This event has long been a main attraction for ladies within the community to enjoy a variety of salads and to socialize with friends.
Tickets are on sale now for $9 and can be purchased from Joann Mackling at (269) 663-2045 or Patty Patzer at (269) 699-7552.
