NILES — Niles Community Schools recently announced registration dates for its preschool and kindergarten programs for the 2018-19 school year. The following dates are applicable to anyone interested in registering their child to attend early education programs at schools throughout the district.

The following Preschool (GSRP and/or Headstart) registration dates are available at Northside Child Development Center located at 2020 N. Fifth Street:

•  6 p.m. Thursday, March 15

• 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 25,

• 10 a.m. Friday, April 27

Children who will be 4 years old on or before Dec. 1, could be eligible to enroll. Bring the child’s official birth certificate and proof of income to registration. Those who are unable to attend one of these enrollments are welcome to visit Northside to begin the enrollment process.

The following kindergarten registration dates are also available at Northside:

• 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 21

• 6 p.m. Thursday, April 19

• 10 a.m. Friday, April 27

Children who will be 5 years old on or before Dec. 1, are eligible to enroll. Parents should bring the child’s official birth certificate and proof of residency to registration. Those who are unable to attend these round ups are welcome to visit any of Niles’ elementary schools to begin the enrollment process.
