Crime Stoppers seek art vandals

WESAW TWP. — The Berrien County Sheriff’s Department is seeking information from the public about a malicious destruction of property and larceny complaint that occurred at a Wesaw Township property on 11:28 a.m. Jan. 14.
The crime occurred after unknown suspects entered onto a property and caused damage in excess of $10,000 to a tunnel made of metal and vines. The suspects also stole a portion of a yard art piece valued in excess of $6,000.
Crime Stoppers wants to find the person or persons responsible for this and will pay up to $1,000 for information leading to their arrest. Crime Stoppers also pays cash rewards on other felony crimes and the capture of fugitives.
