Hugh H. Heiermann, of Puebla, Mexico

Hugh H. Heiermann, 60, of Puelba, Mexico, passed away at home on Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2017.
Hugh was born Jan. 11, 1957, to Robert and Lottie Heiermann in Niles. He married Rosario Sanchez in Puebla in October of 2017.
He was a graduate of Buchanan High School in 1974, and graduated from Tri State University in Angola, Indiana, where he played on the golf team.
He was an engineer for Ohio Art Company in Bryan, Ohio, and TransNav in Detroit. He moved to TransNav S.A. de C.V., Mexico to expand their plant in Puebla in 2005, and continued to live there after retirement.
He loved the people, the family and community culture of Mexico and his golf buddies at LaVista Country Club.
Surviving Hugh are his wife, Rosario of Puebla; mother Lottie Heiermann; and sister, Pamela (Gary) Boyce of Traverse City; and a large family of Heiermann cousins.
Hugh was preceded in death by his father, Robert (Bob) Heiermann; grandparents, Erv and Ada Heiermann, of Buchanan, and Lemur and Sally Sapp, of Fernandina Beach, Florida.
Hugh was a robust man of hospitality, always the engineer with a plan to execute and will be lovingly missed by his family and friends.
A private family service will be held in Puebla, Mexico.
