DETROIT — The Michigan High School Athletic Association is hosting eight state championship football games over the next two days at Ford Field, home of the Detroit Lions.
In the Division 6 contest won by Jackson Lumen Christi 40-34 over undefeated Ithaca, Cassopolis’ Dan Covey was the refereee and Dowagiac’s Randy Gross was the field judge.
Edwardsburg takes on defending state champion Grand Rapids Catholic Central for the Division 4 crown.
