Tribute to our Boy Scouts

I had the pleasure of hosting our Christmas Craft Extravaganza this past Nov. 4.
We asked Doug Stringfellow and his father, Doug Stringfellow Sr., for help with our bazaar. I inquired about having a few Boy Scouts help us out.
Along with these two Scout leaders, six Boy Scouts from Troop 593 in Edwardsburg helped us for almost six hours.
These wonderful boys helped out elderly vendors and vendors unload their items from their vehicles to their table. They opened doors for everyone, helped move tables, brought food to their tables so they did not have to leave their station.
These fine young boys treated everyone with great respect. They said things like “Thank you, may I help you,” and “Can I get you anything?”
I cannot thank them enough for everything they did, but most of all in the manner in which they treated people. We have a wonderful group of boys growing up and I want to personally thank the Boy Scouts and their leaders for doing a great job.
Keep up the good work.
