Niles’ Don Kirkendall was recognized for his volunteer work during the 2017 Volunteer Star Awards Luncheon in April. Kirkendall is a volunteer at the Greater Niles Senior Center. He received a plaque and a letter from Sen. John Proos thanking him for his work. (Submitted photo)
