As part of an ongoing commitment to support continuing education, Quality Dining Inc. is awarding 78 area high school seniors with $78,000 in continuing education scholarships and 41 local Burger King employees with an additional $65,000 in educational scholarships.
The company recently awarded a $1,000 scholarship to Dowagiac Union High School’s Danielle Lamb.
“We are so proud of the future these students are creating for themselves and our community, and we’re honored to play a small role in it,” noted Gerald O. Fitzpatrick, senior vice president of Quality Dining’s Burger King division. “They go above and beyond expectations in all areas — including school, work and community involvement.”
Quality Dining raises scholarship money through coupon sales in local Burger King restaurants.
