Rangers 14th at Division 4 regional

STURGIS — The Cassopolis golf team failed to advance out of the Division 4 regional tournament hosted by White Pigeon at Klinger Lake Country Club.
Kalamazoo Hackett was the regional champion after shooting 338 as a team.
White Pigeon was second with a 343 and Kalamazoo Christian third with a 345.
The top three teams, plus the three individuals with the lowest score not on a qualifying team, advance to the finals, which will be held June 9 and 10 at Forest Akers East on the campus of Michigan State University.
Henry Hedeman of Hackett was the individual medalist after shooting a round of 74.
The Rangers, who finished 14th with a score of 440, was led by Lane Francis who shot 94.
