Bobcats make the most of their hits in win over Rangers

Brandywine made the most of its hits and took advantage of five Cassopolis Rangers errors earning a pair of wins Thursday afternoon.
The Bobcats swept the Rangers 11-1 and 4-1 in BCS Athletic Conference non-divisional action.
Brandywine (5-2) had just five hits in the opening game, including a 3-for-3 performance from Toby Fox, who drove in a pair of runs.
Ty Mickiewicz also drove in two runs for the Bobcats, who scored four in the opening inning and never looked back.
Mickiewicz worked the first four innings and earned the victory as he allowed one hit with four strikeouts. Brady Duval pitched the final two innings, allowing one hit with three strikeouts.
Dylan Green doubled for the Rangers, who had just two hits.
In the nightcap, which lasted just five innings before being called due to darkness, Brandywine scored four runs on just two hits. Cassopolis committed two more errors.
Brock Prenkert went the distance for the Bobcats, allowed one run on four hits with four strikeouts.
Duval had a double for Brandywine.
