Michiana Robotics team amaze judges at regional competition

The Michiana Youth Robotics VEX team 4911A, High Voltage received two awards at the Western Michigan Regional Competition Saturday.

Judges praised the team for creating a speedy machine that also utilized sensors and encoders on the robot. These characteristics helped the team to achieve a 2cd, allowing them to win a spot in the state tournament and a finalist trophy.
The team also won the Amaze Award trophy, which is given to a team that amazed the judges.
