After the community came through to support members of the Beta Sigma Phi in October, the sorority held up its end of the bargain last Friday. The local organization donated checks of $750 to both Fitch Camp and Cass County Cancer Service that afternoon.

The contributions were made using $1,500 raised during the sorority’s annual chili supper, which took before the final Chieftains’ game of the season Oct. 14.
