EXPOsing Greatness business expo to return to Niles

In an effort to highlight the best of what the Niles and Buchanan business communities have to offer, the EXPOsing Greatness business expo is returning for another year.
The seventh annual event will take place from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 20, at Summit Church, which is located at 1700 W. River Road, in Niles.
The event moved to Summit Church last year after being hosted at several different sites, including Lake Michigan College’s Bertrand Crossing Campus, Niles High School and Buchanan High School.
Tyanna Weller, president of the Niles-based Four Flags Area Chamber of Commerce, said the event provides business professionals from the greater Niles/Buchanan area an opportunity to network and learn about the products and services offered by other local businesses.
“We would love to get a lot of people out there,” she said. “We are hoping to continue to enhance what our businesses are doing and let people know all of the things that are here in the Four Flags and Buchanan chamber regions.”
In addition to networking opportunities, EXPOsing Greatness will feature free exhibitor giveaways and food samples provided by the culinary programs at area schools.
The event is free and open to the public. Money raised provides scholarships for students at Niles, Brandywine and Buchanan Community Schools.
Weller said more than 40 vendor booths had been secured as of Thursday afternoon — the day before the exhibitor registration deadline of Friday, Aug. 26.
The event will feature a wide range of exhibitors, including Integrity Real Estate, Trine University, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Berrien and Cass Counties, Lakeland Health, Greater Niles Community Federal Credit Union, the Four Flags Apple Festival, Sam’s Club and the Michiana Gateway Community Foundation, to name a few.
