Mno-Bmadsen announces new leader

Mno-Bmadsen announced the appointment Friday of Heather Farver as the organization’s tribal pathways administrator, a new position within Mno-Bmadsen.

As administrator of the pathways program, Farver will assist Pokagon Band of Potawatomi tribal citizens in exploring vocational opportunities that provides satisfaction and fulfillment. The pathways program provides various steps a citizen can take to find a career.

Farver graduated from Western Michigan with a bachelor’s of business administration in human resource management and has seven years of tribal HR experience.

In her free time she enjoys spending time with her daughter, playing softball and attending football and baseball games whenever possible.

The program is a partnership between the Pokagon Band government’s education and human resources departments and Mno-Bmadsen’s human resources department.  They encourage tribal citizens to explore the opportunities available to them.
