Cassopolis had just one first-team selection on the BCS Athletic Conference All-Division squad, which was named recently.

Senior Katie Purlee earned first-team status, while teammates Erica Williams, Nikki Keefe and Kayla Rowan were honorable mention selections.

Maile Barber was a special mention pick.

Lynzee Armstrong, Williams, Purlee and Keefe all were named Division 4 All-District.

All-district is the first step in the selection process by the Michigan High School Softball Coaches Association for all-state.

All-region, which has not been released yet, is the second step.

The Division 4 All-State team is expected to be announced this week.
