Milton Twp. to host energy code seminar

MILTON TOWNSHIP — Milton Township will host a free energy code seminar from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, June 14, for inspectors and others interested in the new energy compliance codes. Niles woman graduates with master’s

Chelsea Lafluer, of Niles, graduated from the University of Findlay with a master’s degree in athletic training. The University of Findlay is a private college in Northwest Ohio with an enrollment of 4,200 students.

 

Niles airport to host fly-in breakfast

NILES — The Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 865 will host its 30th annual fly-in, drive-in pancake breakfast at 7 a.m. Sunday, June 26, at Jerry Tyler Memorial Airport, which is located at 2030 Lake St., in Niles. An all-you-can eat breakfast is $6, including pancakes, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and drinks.

 

Gospel trio to play at Old Rugged Cross

POKAGON TOWNSHIP — The We Three Women’s Gospel Trio will perform a concert at The Old Rugged Cross Church from 3 to 4:30 p.m. June 19 at the church, which is located at 61041 Vermont St., in Pokagon. The event is free.

 

Elder care meeting coming to YMCA

NILES — The Four Flags Area Chamber of Commerce will offer an elder care meeting at 1 p.m. Monday, June 20, at the Niles-Buchanan YMCA. Elder care meetings are an open forum to discuss industry challenges, opportunities and needs. Call 683-3720 for more information.
