Brenda McMillen, of Nevada City, California was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on July 6, 1946, to Lowell and Maryette McMillen and passed away on June 2, 2016.

She is a 1964 graduate of Niles High School.

She is survived by her husband, Frank Brander, sisters Linda Hudec and husband Jim of Idaho and Glenda Hass and husband Dean of Michigan. Also surviving are four nieces, Heather Beaudoin and husband Matt of Michigan, Kristen Hudec of Vancouver, British Columbia, Linaya Heatherly and husband Craig of North Dakota, Cally Fix and husband Justin of Iowa, one nephew, Steven Hudec of Oklahoma and two great-nieces Grace and Nora Beaudoin.
