EDWARDSBURG, Mich. — Beverly N. Robinson, 91, of Edwardsburg, Michigan, died at 9:15 p.m. Thursday, April 7, 2016, at Elkhart General Hospital in Elkhart.
Mrs. Robinson was born on May 24, 1924, in Niles, Michigan to the late Louis Earl and Florence Edith (Mould) Belding. She married C.M. “Robby” Robinson and he survives in Edwardsburg. She was a specialty cook, making deserts and pastries and worked for Matterhorn for many years retiring in 1999 and then went to work part time at Fly Traps.
Beverly was a member of Coulters Chapel Church in Niles, Michigan and a former member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Niles. She was known as a people person and loved cooking, working and spending time outdoors in her garden and the lake; she also enjoyed housework and used to love taking long drives in the country with her husband.
She is survived by her husband Robby; two daughters, Beth and Ken Beebe of Kalamazoo, Michigan and Jackie Haynes of Vandalia, Michigan; one son, Kyle W. Haynes of Edwardsburg, Michigan; also surviving are six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Randolph C. Haynes and one daughter, Maureen Syson.
Cremation has taken place.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 16, at Coulters Chapel Church; 3176 East Detroit Street (M-60) Niles, Michigan 49120.
