Money stolen from Niles American Vets building

The Berrien County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help in find the person responsible for stealing money from American Vets in Niles Township.
On Feb. 2, at approximately 11:04 a.m., the Berrien Co. Sheriff’s Department was dispatched to the American Vets located at 1117 E. Bertrand Road, in regards to a breaking and entering that occurred in the overnight hours. The unknown suspects broke into the American Vets building and stole two safes containing money.
Crime Stoppers wants the person responsible for this armed robbery and will pay up to $1,000 for information leading to their arrest. Crime Stoppers also pays cash rewards on other felony crimes and the capture of fugitives.
