NEW BUFFALO — Brandywine wrestling coach Rex Pomranka picked up career victories No. 299 and 300 as the Bobcats swept a pair of BCS Athletic Conference matches Wednesday night.

Brandywine defeated Cassopolis 40-33 and then edged Berrien Springs 42-39 to improve to 21-9 on the season.

Pomranka is in his 12th season as the Bobcats’ head coach.

In its win over Berrien Springs, Brandywine recorded five pins and picked up a pair of forfeits.

Against Cassopolis, the Bobcat got pins from Searra Inman, Michael Kachur, Jesse Lochmondy and Kristen Hertsal.
