Rangers win third straight

Cassopolis had little trouble picking up its third consecutive victory as it defeated visiting White Pigeon 85-70 in BCS Athletic Conference Blue Division boys basketball action Friday night.
The Rangers (4-2, 3-0 BCS Blue) jumped out to a 20-12 first quarter lead and led 38-26 at the intermission.
Cassopolis outscored White Pigeon (4-3, 2-1 BCS Blue) 47-28 in the second half to pull away to the easy victory.
Bryce Saxton led Cassopolis with 32 points, which included four of the Rangers’ eight 3-pointers. Alex Emerson added 16 points and Deion Gatson 15 points.
Dylan Sandy scored 33 points to lead the Chiefs and all scorers. David Miller finished with 25 points.
