Several local realtors helped to make the holidays brighter in Niles and Buchanan last week as they donated to several community organizations throughout the region.

Each year, Cressy & Everett employees decide which organizations to donate to based on where they see the need in the community. This year, Cressy donated $400 each to:

• Northside Development School for a new natural playground

• Niles Ring Lardner middle school boys’ basketball team for new uniforms and equipment

• Buchanan High School art department toward a new kiln

• Pregnancy Care Center of Niles

• St. Mary’s Food Pantry of Niles

The business also donated $300 to Brandywine High School’s band department for the purchase of a new tuba, and $100 to Brandywine Elementary’s art department to help fund glazing projects.
