The Niles Community Schools District has set the following schedule for citizens to use the schools for walking exercise during the winter months.

Indoor walking will start on Monday, Nov. 23 and conclude on Thursday, March.

It will take place at the following buildings:

Ring Lardner Middle School — From 4 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday

Ballard Elementary School — From 6 to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday

The buildings will not be open for walking during Thanksgiving, winter and spring breaks, parent/teacher conferences and other days that there may be school-wide events.
