Arlene D. Hebner, 93, of Berrien Springs, died Sunday, Oct. 18, 2015, at Lakeland Medical Center in St. Joseph, following a short illness.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, at Allred Funeral Home in Berrien Springs, with burial following in Mission Hills Memorial Gardens, Niles. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, and online messages may be left at www.allredfuneralhome.com. Memorial donations may be made to Oronoko United Methodist Church, 3174 Little Glendora Road, Buchanan, MI 49107, of which she was a member.
Arlene was born Dec. 28, 1921, in Buchanan, the daughter of Morgan and Edna (Canfield) Lolmaugh. In addition to caring for her family, she had worked for Welco and Essex Wire companies. Her leisure enjoyments included baking cookies and apple pies, and she loved putting puzzles together.
Survivors include two daughters, Betty Ulrich of Swanton, Ohio, and Christine (Larry) Benson of Berrien Center; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Arlene was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings; her husband, Christian Hebner; and a great-grandson, Brandon Benson.
