Hundreds of elementary school students lined the streets around Eastside Connections School to watch Niles High School’s annual homecoming parade Friday afternoon.
The parade featured the high school marching band, several floats, representatives from various sports programs, school clubs and members of class royalty.
Students not part of the parade still participated by displaying their school spirit with clothing and signs.
The parade also featured a police and fire department escort in addition to appearances by Victor the Viking and new superintendent Dan Applegate, among others.
