Westendorp

Brittany Kodie and Kurt Westendorp of LaPorte, Indiana were married June 19, 2015, at The Allure, in LaPorte.

Brittany is the daughter of Lisa and Roger Drehs, of Grand Rapids.

Kurt is the son of Denise and Al Westendorp, of Berrien Springs, and the grandson of Dean and Darlene Lockwood.

Brittany graduated from LaPorte High School in 2007 and Purdue North Central in 2012, where she majored in secondary education. She is a biology teacher at Portage High School in Portage, Indiana.

Kurt graduated from Dowagiac Union High School in 2001 and Valparaiso University in 2004. He has a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s degree in sports administration. He is the associate head coach of women’s basketball at Valparaiso University.

Lisa Drehs and Jennifer DeRover were Brittany’s matrons of honor. Bridesmaids were Vicki Nugent, Nicole Husen, Rachel Spore and Emily Krassow. Mechelle Kodie was a junior bridesmaid, and Jenny Drehs was the flower girl.

Justin Rose served as best man. Alec Hipshear, Nathan Bulmon, Nic Clements, Mark Westendorp, Jason Krassow and Charles Kodie served as groomsmen. Carter Krassow was the ring bearer.
