Doberstein

Arnold and Elma (Brant) Doberstein will celebrate the 73rd anniversary of their wedding Oct. 3.

The Dobersteins were married Oct. 3, 1942, four months after meeting on a blind date.

They were married at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Dowagiac, where they are still active members.

They have two daughters, Rose Kelly, of Dowagiac and Linda (John) Wanberg, of Niles. They have six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
