The Junior Arts Club of Dowagiac will celebrate summer with a tour of Tree-Mendous Fruit Farm, followed by a buffet luncheon on Wednesday, Aug. 5.

Attendees should arrive at 10:30 a.m. for the tour. Herb Teichman (husband of Junior Arts Life Member, Liz Teichman) will conduct the tour, which will consist of a senior-friendly wagon ride through the orchards, with narration and information the history, geology, climate, weather, etc., of the area, as well as about the many varieties of fruits grown there.

Dress for comfort and check the weather. A buffet luncheon and brief business meeting, at picnic tables under a shelter, will follow the tour. The cost is $18; please pay with check or exact amount in cash.
