There will be a half day of school on Monday and Tuesday, June 8 and 9, for all students attending Brandywine Community Schools.

The middle and senior high school students (grades 7-11) will dismiss at 10:50 a.m.; Brandywine Elementary students (grades 3-6) will dismiss at 12:25 p.m.; Merritt Elementary students (grades K-2) will dismiss at 12:10 p.m.

The alternative/adult education program will have morning classes only on those days.

Beginning on Monday, June 15, the administration office will be operating on a “summer hours” schedule.

The central office will be open Mondays through Thursdays, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on Fridays from 8 a.m. to noon. Normal business hours will return on Monday, Aug. 3.

Merritt, Brandywine Elementary, and the Middle/Senior High School buildings will be open through June 30, and will reopen on Aug. 3. Office hours will be 8:30 a.m. to noon, and 1 to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Normal business hours will return on Monday, Aug. 24.
