WATERVLIET — Visiting Brandywine ran its record to 23-6 with a sweep of Watervliet in non-conference baseball Thursday.

The Bobcats won the opening game 5-3 and then took the nightcap 9-1.

Toby Fox scattered six hits to earn the victory in the first game.

Brandywine finished with six hits, including a home run by Cole Searles and doubles by Seth Brown, Hunter Janowiak and Brady Duval.

In the second game, Matt Vaughn earned the win.

Tanner Bourdon and Jeshua Wiese both doubled.

The Bobcats open up Division 3 District competition at 4 p.m. Tuesday in Bridgman against Berrien Springs.
