BATTLE CREEK — The Niles boys track team finished fourth at the SMAC Track Championships at Battle Creek Central Saturday.

The Vikings girls team finished 12th.

The Niles 400-meter relay team of Joe Avance, Cameron Haines, Elijah Thompson and Connor Amberg brought home a conference championship after posting a time of 44.25.

Avance was also second the 100-meters with a time of 11.28. Josh Buckingham was second in the 200-meters with a time of 23.16.
