According to the Berrien County Sheriff’s Department, police have received a tip detailing the location of the suspect in a shooting that occurred on March 22 at Aaron’s Mini Storage in Niles.

Micahel Jerome Exom III, who allegedly shot his girlfriend at the location on Fifth Street last month, is reported to be located in a house at 310 N. Ninth St. in Niles.

A felony warrant has been issued for Exom’s arrest for the shooting in March.

The Berrien County SWAT team is preparing to make entry into the home.
