Patricia A. Duty, 73, of Niles passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 with her family by her side.
On March 30, 1942, Patricia was born to the late Claire and Marion (Tague) Murphy in Dowagiac, Michigan.
After graduating from Niles High School Patricia worked at what was known as Pawating Hospital for over 20 years as a surgical technician. Patricia enjoyed motorcycles and fast cars. As a matter of fact, Patricia used to race her Mustang and had her fair share of wins. She was also an avid reader, and a lover of animals.
She always had a bright smile, kind words and a willingness to help anyone in need, whether it be family, friends or a complete stranger. However, those who know Patricia can attest that her church, family, and long lasting friends were what brought Patricia the most happiness.
Preceding Patricia are her parents, her daughter Tracey Bowker and her son Bill True.
She is survived by her daughters Sherri Wogatzke , Melanie (Les) Sanford, and Robin True, all of Niles, as well as 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
