Rangers clinch share of BCS East title

Cassopolis clinched at least a share of the BCS Athletic Conference East Division championship with a 70-50 win over visiting Mendon Friday night.
The Rangers (10-6, 4-1 East) have a two-game lead with games remaining with Centreville and White Pigeon.
Mendon (9-6, 4-3 East) is currently tied for second with White Pigeon (7-8, 4-3 East).
Cassopolis got off to a quick start as the Rangers led 21-11 after one quarter.
The Hornets were able to cut the lead to 33-24 by halftime, but were outscored 47-26 in the second half.
Brandon Glover had 18 points to lead Cassopolis and all scorers. The Rangers also got 15 points from Bryce Saxton and 11 points form Dion Gatson.
Jordan Medich led Mendon with 14 points. Park Culp and Elijah Klepper finished with 12 and 10 respectively.
