For the second time this season, the Cassopolis boys basketball team handed Buchanan a single digit defeat.

The Rangers (9-6) edged the Bucks (8-6) 60-57 in Cassopolis Jan. 16.

Thursday night, the Rangers completed the sweep with a 61-52 BCS non-divisional victory.

Cassopolis grabbed an 18-12 lead after one quarter and stretched it to 36-23 by halftime.

The Rangers took a 15-point bulge (49-34) into the final quarter and then held off the Bucks’ comeback attempt.

Brandon Glover led a balanced Cassopolis offense with 17 points. Bryce Saxton added 12 points and Malik Ballard 11.

Tyler Flynn paced Buchanan with 13 points. Tim McCaffrey finished with 10.
