Big first half lifts Bucks to victory

BUCHANAN — Visiting Lake Michigan Catholic was limited to 12 first half points as Buchanan defeated the Lakers 64-35 in BCS Athletic Conference West Division boys basketball action Monday.
The Bucks (4-3, 2-1 West) led 23-6 after one quarter and 32-12 at halftime.
Tyler Flynn had 16 points to lead the Bucks, who also got nine points from Eli Lewis.
Lake Michigan (4-3, 0-3 West) was led by Ryan Stachowski’s eight points.
