Rob and Julie Habicht of Edwardsburg, Michigan are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter, Katherine Lane Habicht to Matthew Robert Erskine, son of Thomas and Mary Erskine of Saginaw, Michigan.

Kate is a graduate of Edwardsburg High School and Saint Mary’s College, Notre Dame, Indiana, with a degree in biology.

She also has a master’s degree from Saint Louis University in public health/epidemiology. She works for Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois as a clinical quality analyst.

Matt is a graduate of Saginaw Swan Valley High School and Michigan State University with a degree in civil engineering. He is employed by Clark Construction Group as a Construction Project Manager, currently working in Chicago, Illinois.

They are looking forward to a May 9, 2015 wedding in Charleston, South Carolina.
