Bobcats win battle of unbeatens

ST. JOSEPH — The battle between BCS Athletic Conference West Division unbeatens turned out to be nothing more than a skirmish.
Visiting Brandywine, outscored the Lakers 19-4 in the opening quarter and never looked back in winning 61-38 to improve to 5-0 on the year and 3-0 in the West.
The loss drops LMC to 5-1.
The Bobcats led by 22 at halftime (36-14) and by 25 after three (49-24).
Makenna Hartline scored a game-high 22 points to lead Brandywine, which also got 11 points from Brooke Smith.
