Deejra Thompson and Jordan Lee, both of Niles, are announcing their engagement after Jordon proposed at the Detroit Pistons/Miami Heat matchup on March 28, 2014.

Deejra is the daughter of Sadie Ealey and Mitchell Thompson, and granddaughter of Marion Matthews and Phin Shannon.

Jordan is the son of Cindy and Jimmy Lee, and the grandson of Helen and Earl Lee.

Deejra graduated from Buchanan High School in 2005, and studies business administration at Lake Michigan College. Jordan graduated from Buchanan High School in 2006 and studies business at Lake Michigan College.

Deejra is a director of life enrichment. Jimmy is a lead saw operator.

They will marry on May 16, 2015.
