Earl Judd Walls, 90, of Niles, passed away on Monday, Jan. 6, 2014 at his home.

Earl was born May 17, 1923, in Buchanan, Michigan to Eleanor (Barnes) and Earl G. Walls.

He was a United States Navy Veteran and was a Pearl Harbor survivor. He was enlisted from 1940 through 1946. Earl was a member of the Buchanan American Legion Post No. 51 and lifetime member of VFW No. 10704.

He worked as an inspector and retired from Electro-voice. On June 27, 1947 he married Phyllis Pearl Rollf in Ohio.

Earl is survived by his wife of 66 years Phyllis Walls, two son’s; Jack (Mercyde) Walls, and Paul Arnold Walls, One daughter; Vera Maxine (James) Harpole, one brother; Jack Miller, three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his stepfather Earl Miller. Cremation has taken place.
