Zach Burkhardt scored three goals to help visiting Michigan Lutheran defeat Cassopolis 8-1 in non-league soccer Thursday.

The Rangers averted the shutout in the 49th minute when Dylan Armstrong scored off an assist by Gary Cooper.

The Titans held a 32-5 advantage in shots on goal. Cassopolis’ Deion Gatson was credited with 10 saves.
